Who sends us work
Most of our work comes from three kinds of photographer. Product photographers shoot dozens or hundreds of items for a store, a catalog or a marketplace, and every image needs the same white, the same shadow and the same crop. Portrait photographers come back from a headshot day or a family session with more selects than they have evenings to edit. Real estate photographers shoot several homes a day and need bracketed or flash frames blended into clean listing images by the next morning.
What they share is volume. Editing is the part of the job that grows with every booking, and it is the easiest part to hand off, as long as the edits come back looking like yours.

How we think about an edit
Every edit is a stack of separate fixes on top of your raw frame: one for color, one for the backdrop, one for dust, one for shadow. The drawing at the top of this page shows that idea. Turn a layer off and you see the raw state of that one fix. Working this way means a change request is small. If you want a softer shadow, we adjust one layer and leave the rest alone.
On request we send layered PSD or TIFF files along with the flat exports, so you or your client can make small changes later.
What to send
- The number of images, and whether more sets will follow on a schedule
- Raw files (CR3, NEF, ARW, RAF, DNG) or full-size JPEG or TIFF, through a shared folder or transfer link
- Two or three reference images that show the look you want, from your own work or a style guide
- Output sizes, file format, color profile and naming rules, or the marketplace or MLS the files are for
- Anything that must stay untouched, such as product details, tattoos, freckles or a property feature
- Your deadline, and who signs off on the first images
Not sure what you need? Send ten raw files and a sentence about the look. We'll tell you what we would do and quote from there.
Where we work
All editing is remote, so location only decides the time zone we book calls in and the conditions we expect in your files. We focus on photographers in San Antonio, Denver and Phoenix, three cities with strong sun and hard light that leave their mark on real estate and outdoor portrait files.
San Antonio, TX
Retouching for San Antonio product, portrait and real estate photographers.
Denver, CO
Retouching for Denver product, portrait and real estate photographers.
Phoenix, AZ
Retouching for Phoenix product, portrait and real estate photographers.
What finished sets and edits look like

Common questions
How much does retouching cost?
It depends on what each image needs, how many images there are and how fast you need them. A white-background product cutout is a different job from a high-end beauty retouch. We quote every job in writing after seeing sample files, so you know the cost before work starts.
Will the edits match my style?
That is the point of the test set. We edit a few images first, you mark what to change, and the approved test becomes the recipe for the whole job and for later jobs.
Do you keep my files?
Only as long as the job and any revisions need them. Files are used for your job and nothing else. See the privacy policy.
Are the images on this site client work?
No. The layer drawings are concepts made for this site and the photo samples were made with an AI image model. Both are labeled. We don't publish client work without permission.
